Using FrontLook AI Writer
- After logging into your account, you will see the Documents panel (see below).
- You can log out
- On this page, you can create a new project document by entering a name for the new document.
- You will also see any previously saved documents.
- You can Edit (Pen icon) or Download (download icon) a document in the list or
- Delete the document by clicking on the trash can icon.
FrontLook AI Writer Document Manager
Using the AI Writer user interface to write an article:

- Click the Document button to Select a document or create a new document on the Document management page.
- Select an AI Assisted Writing Task from the 14 icons listed in the left column.
- Then use each of the writing prompts to create new content by completing the guided prompts. Each prompt will be a little different depending on the information needed for a response.
- Choose a writing tone for the response.
- Choose a Creativity value to determine how much leeway you are going to give the AI engine to respond to your writing prompt.
- Choose the response language for the response.
- Press the Create button to generate an AI writing response.
- One or More written or image responses will appear.
- Use the Add to Edit to push the copy or image to the editor where ever the cursor is located in the editor.
Inline Editor – Text is autosaved to file. Grammarly will highlight spelling and Grammar errors.
- A. Use the Editor Bar to format the text: Undo, Redo, Text Style (H1, H2…), bullets, links and remove formatting controls
- B. Edit text and images in the editor
- C. Select text and press the “Rewrite” button for the AI to rephrase the text. The “Continue” button will add more text to thicken the article.

How to Request your FrontLook AI Writer account
We will need 4 pieces of information for the Request Form to the right:
- Your email address in case we need to contact you about setting up your account. You will be subscribed to our FrontLook email updates for the AI Writer.
- A user name (only lowercase a-z, 1-9, -,_ characters. Your user name will become your folder name in your URL. E.g., https://aiwriter.frontlook.com/your-username
- Optional strong Password – at least 8 characters with at least one lowercase character, an uppercase character, a number, and a special character (e.g., !@#). If you don’t provide a strong password, a strong password will be generated for you.
- OpenAI.com API key. You will need to create a FREE OpenAI account and go to this page to create a Secret Key. Click here for detailed instructions on how to set up an OpenAI account and retrieve the API key.
- Optional Grammarly Client ID if you want to use your Grammarly account dictionary in the FrontLook AI Writer Editor. See this URL for detailed instructions. If this is not important to you, we will set up a common Client ID for Grammarly.
We will assign a strong password for the account and send it to you via email.
